Ronti Saddle Trek Package

Ronti Saddle Trek Package

The Ronti Saddle Trek is one of the most adventurous and lesser-explored treks in the Indian Himalayas, offering a rare combination of alpine meadows, pristine valleys, and majestic snow-covered peaks. Situated between Nanda Ghunti (6,309 m) and Trishul (7,120 m) in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, the trek is a dream for seasoned trekkers who wish to go beyond the popular routes. At an elevation of nearly 5,200 meters, the Ronti Saddle Pass provides unparalleled views of some of the highest Himalayan peaks, making it one of the most challenging yet rewarding expeditions.

This trek is filled with unmatched beauty, ranging from dense forests of oak and rhododendron to high-altitude bugyals (meadows) and massive glaciers. The charm of Bedni Bugyal and Ali Bugyal, the beauty of Roopkund Lake, and the challenging climb to the Ronti Saddle Pass make this trek a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Trekkers also get to witness breathtaking panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Chaukhamba, and Hathi Ghoda Parvat. The trail is a photographer’s paradise, with every turn offering landscapes that look straight out of a postcard.

Due to its high-altitude passes, steep climbs, and long days of trekking, the Ronti Saddle Trek is rated as difficult. It requires prior trekking experience and good physical fitness. The journey tests endurance, stamina, and determination, but in return, it rewards trekkers with the raw grandeur of the Garhwal Himalayas. The thrilling adventure of crossing Roopkund and moving towards the challenging Ronti Saddle makes this trek highly unique compared to other Himalayan treks.
