Day 01 :

Haridwar – Guptkashi (180 km / 7 hrs)

Upon arrival at Haridwar railway station, our representative will greet you warmly. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Guptkashi, en route visiting the sacred Dhari Devi Temple on the banks of the Alaknanda River near Srinagar. Dedicated to Devi Kali Mata, Dhari Devi is revered as the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is located in Kalyasur along the Srinagar–Badrinath highway.

After the temple visit, continue to Guptkashi and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

About Dhari Devi Temple: This Hindu temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali Mata, worshipped as the guardian deity of Uttarakhand. Situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the Garhwal region, it holds great religious significance.

About Guptkashi: Guptkashi carries spiritual importance similar to Kashi (Varanasi). It houses the ancient Vishwanath Temple, Ardh-Nareshwar Temple, and Manikarnik Kund, where two streams of the Ganga and Yamuna are believed to meet. As per legend, after the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva’s blessings here, but Shiva, avoiding them, moved further to Kedarnath.

Day 02 :

Guptkashi – Gaurikund (35 km / 1.5 hrs) – Kedarnath (18 km trek)

After an early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and take a local jeep to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath. Begin the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Ji. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel or camp and spend the night in the serene surroundings of Kedarnath.

About Kedarnath: Nestled against the majestic Kedarnath range, this shrine is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. As per mythology, the Pandavas, seeking redemption for their sins after the Kurukshetra war, pursued Lord Shiva here. The temple’s setting amidst snow-clad peaks adds to its divine aura.

Day 03 :

Kedarnath – Guptkashi (18 km trek + 35 km drive / 1.5 hrs)

In the morning, pay homage at the Kedarnath Temple. Later, trek back to Gaurikund and continue your drive to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Guptkashi – Badrinath (200 km / 10 hrs)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Badrinath Ji, one of the four sacred Char Dham shrines, situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters. On arrival, visit nearby attractions including:

Mana Village – The last village on the Indo–China border, inhabited by Indo-Mongolian tribes called Bhotias. Recognized as a “Tourism Village” by the Uttarakhand government, it is a must-visit destination just 3 km from Badrinath.

Bhim Pul – A natural stone bridge said to have been placed by Bheem to help Draupadi cross the river. The roaring Saraswati River flows beneath before merging with the Alaknanda.

Vyas Cave – An ancient cave where Sage Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata with the assistance of Lord Ganesha.

Ganesh Cave – A naturally formed cave near Vyas Cave, believed to be the spot where Lord Ganesha penned the Mahabharata as dictated by Sage Vyas.

Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 05 :

Badrinath – Haridwar (320 km / 10 hrs)

After breakfast, bid farewell to Badrinath and begin your return journey to Haridwar. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the railway station for your onward journey.
